2007 - 2009
This was a two years full time Masters Programme. The Post Graduate Degree course is an interdisciplinary course that caters to the requirements of industries for innovative designers. It was one of the best academic phases of my life.
A blend of different disciplines of design with the projects in the fields of product, mobility and interaction design. We were trained to creatively solve ill-defined problems with the user centric approach. It was a rich learning environment with students from engineering and architecture backgrounds working synergistically and contributing diverse ideas.
It was a pure pleasure learning subjects like Product Form & Aesthetics, Ergonomics, Communication Skills, Materials, Design Methodology, Design for Manufacture, CAD, User Interface Studies, Behavioral Science and Professional Practice.
2002 - 2006
I studied Mechanical Engineering, from Mumbai University, it was because of an early curiosity to learn "how machines work". I enjoyed learning subjects like Engineering Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Manufacturing Processes, Hydraulic Machines, Industrial Engineering and ERP.
I was the member of Mechanical Engineering Students Association (MESA) and Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). Attended and participated in various events during my academics. Presented and published a technical paper on ' Active Vibration Control' at an International Conference.
I was part of the cricket team as well. I used to be an all-rounder with right arm fast bowling and some explosive batting.
