February 2017 – November 2018 (1 Year 10 Months)

I was working on Big Data Analytics Products, Data Science Solutions, Business Value Apps and Enterprise IT Portals. (Desktop, Web, Mobile)

My role involved gathering UX requirements from the stakeholders and starting the design process by applying predefined UX Methodology along with core design principles towards creating the user experience that perfectly aligns with the company’s and customer’s DNA.

It involved following UCD process with steps such as primary/secondary research, user studies, personas, empathy maps, heuristic evaluations, mind maps, affinity diagrams, information architecture design, concept sketching, high/low fidelity wireframing.

It also included planning & conducting Usability Tests as per industry standards, analyzing them with the Morae Suite, creating & presenting Usability Test Reports to the Product Management Team.

Senior UX Designer (Software Project Leader)

During this time, I got the opportunity to work as Sr UX Designer on completely new products - Rolta OneView Implementation Wizard, Asset Health Monitoring. Here the role was to understand the product requirements from SMEs, Product Managers and other stakeholders. Conducted activities such as brainstorming, white boarding sessions to discuss the possible design strategies.

Conducted user interviews, created personas, created empathy maps to understand about the users and their environment. Card sorting and affinity diagramming sessions helped me to create Information Architectures.

Concept sketching and paper prototypes were used to explore all possible options for easy to use interface and intuitive user journey. Wireframes were created to demonstrate the finalized product features. Usability tests were conducted to validate the designs and improve them before actual development.

UX Designer (Software Lead Engineer)

September 2014 – June 2015 (10 Months)

I began working full time UX Designer with Rolta's BI Big Data Products. My multidisciplinary skill set helped me to understand the UX requirements and integrate creative knowledge, technical and business expertise.

Worked on Intranet IT Portals, SharePoint Portals, Sales Portals to improve the existing user experience. Heuristic evaluation and recommendations played key role in redesigning these portals.

Also worked on Rolta OneView's product features such as Asset Junction, Predictive Analytics Manager and Work Process Automation. Here the role was to enhance the user experience by suggesting improvements based on contextual inquiries and user studies.

I was working as a Faculty in Mechanical Engineering.

To me, teaching is not only a noble profession but a humanistic contribution to the society as a whole with a view to ensuring the holistic and materialistic development of the students.

I loved making use of my potential to perform a number of inspiring and idealistic roles throughout the course of teaching with utmost sincerity. I taught subjects like Manufacturing Process, Product Design, Product Lifecycle Management and Ergonomics.

As a UX Consultant, I enjoyed working on a variety of assignments and delivered artifacts on Experience Design, Usability Research and Testing, Information Architecture, Data Visualizations, Corporate Identity and Branding.
